Meet Truss Creative

Same, same but different

Why we reinvented our agency

Truss Office Door

It’s been quite a crazy start to this new decade.

Harry and Meghan decided they needed their space. An impeachment hearing was looming for weeks. We lost one of professional sports’ most beloved athletes. And now, we’re all hoarding hand sanitizer and figuring out how to lead our businesses through the uncertainty of a global pandemic. Suffice to say, there’s been a lot to process in 2020.

These global headlines coincide with our own bit of news. Bridge Brand Lab is now Truss Creative.

An evolution more than a year in the making, we’re going public with what our clients and close friends already know. What started as a two-person, creative studio in 2013 has become a full-service creative agency offering the strategy, brand, design, digital, and social media solutions smart businesses need to navigate 2020 and beyond. Our new name is a tip of the hat to our beginnings, but it means so much more.

Truss stands for strength, support, lift, and, ultimately, a tangible framework for brand resonance and business growth. That framework is the Truss Method—our way of ensuring clients tell the right story to the right people in the right way. It’s our special way of approaching business challenges and the backbone of our creativity.

Over our next few posts we’ll be delving deeper into each of the four elements of the Truss Method. Make sure you sign up for Wide Angle or follow us on social so you never miss a post.

Our new name and thinking wouldn’t have been complete without a fresh look and feel. In addition to a clean, modern logotype and simplified brand mark, we’ve paired bold typography with a punch color palette to create our new brand platform.

Throughout our creative process we took inspiration from the minimalist designs of Ray and Charles Eames, the flare and form of fashion icons Jenna Lyons and Tim Gunn, and the earnestness of our favorite fictional character Leslie Knope (if you know, you know). It’s a motley crew of references but it works for us.
