Coastal Nursery
Established in 1946, Coastal Nursery was a third-generation wholesale grower across five farms in one of California’s rare Monterey Bay microclimates. Specializing in rosemary and unique varieties of cypress and heather, Coastal built a reputation for products consumers couldn’t get enough of. With major grocers and home centers across the U.S. as clients, the nursery needed a new brand platform and website to support its next phase of growth.

Our solution
Our strategy centered on capturing the romance of California’s Central Coast. Through immersive storytelling, we positioned the brand so customers could practically smell the salty Monterey Bay mist at every touchpoint—anchoring Coastal Nursery in its unique terroir.




Growing with authenticity
The Coastal Nursery website was designed to function as a complete resource hub for both prospective and existing wholesale customers. We drove primary CTAs to a catalog request form, developed a seasonal product lookbook, and created an in-depth plant index with dedicated pages for each specialty crop. Following the launch of the new website, Coastal Nursery saw a 30% increase in traffic, leading to a significant uptick in backend wholesale distribution.

We modernized the Coastal Nursery brand with a fresh, earthy visual identity. Original photography, a nature-inspired color palette, and studio-shot, styled product imagery worked together to elevate the brand while staying true to its agricultural roots.
